Slicker than Slick Willie

McCain did much much better last night and probably "won," but missed many openings and should have held Obama to account for his lies and omissions. I'm really confused about what how he thinks the Ayers stuff is going to work for him if he refuses to connect the dots. If all he's going to do with it is insist that Obama hasn't been forthcoming (which is true) and he's never going to talk about Wright, Pfleger, Khalidi, et al, then I don't understand why his campaign brought it up in the first place. He should turn the "Senator Government" slip into an ongoing joke.

Obama did a good job of pretending to be a moderate. Why hasn't anyone asked how someone that calls for "fundamental change" can be a moderate? Moderates are not comfortable with the radicals Obama chooses to hang out with.

Obama still insists he's going to have a net decrease in spending while being specific about many areas where he wants to spend more and just giving the standard politician's pledge to cut "waste, fraud and abuse" without much specificity. I don't know if this is lying or self-deception.

Obama lied about ACORN, Ayers, abortion and more. He repeated the media's libel that folks yelled "kill him!" about him (when it was really about Ayers). He did it calmly, smoothly and convincingly. He's really a better liar than Bill Clinton. Simply amazing. I never thought I'd see that in my lifetime.
